Naruto defeats Fuuka after
figuring out her secret and weakness. She turns out to be
some type of hair creature and her body was only a host formed from
clay and soil. Meanwhile Asuma escapes from the lightning
field prison and catches up to Kitane. He defeats Kitane and
therefore foils the Limelight jutsu.
Furido realizes his plan to obliterate Konoha
with Limelight has failed, but reveals to Sora that he is his back-up
weapon. It is revealed that after Kyuubi's attack on Konoha
15 years ago, the remnants of his chakra was collected by the rebel
Shinobi Guardsmen and sealed inside Sora, making him a
pseudo-Jinchuuriki. Furido unleashes Sora’s seal
and states that he will transform into the real Kyuubi once he has
grown nine tails.
Naruto, Asuma and the others
arrive to witness Sora begin his transformation. Asuma
recognizes Furido as Sora’s father, Tazuna, whom he had
killed many years ago. Yamato attempts to suppress
Kyuubi’s chakra in Sora but says he can’t because,
unlike Naruto, Sora is not wearing the First Hokage’s special
necklace. Naruto reveals to Sora that he is also a host to
Kyuubi’s chakra, but Sora refuses to trust anyone anymore.
