Summary:
Sora realizes that Furido’s plan to have the Fire Country reborn is to kill everyone in Konoha with the Limelight jutsu. Furido wants Sora to come with him after everything is destroyed. Sora refuses and tries to stop Furido, but is savagely beaten instead. Elsewhere, Naruto continues to be beaten around by the multi-element user Fuuka. Asuma’s fight with Kitane is stopped when Kitane traps him with a Lightning field jutsu and escapes to help his comrades complete the Limelight jutsu. Yamato begins gaining the advantage in his figh against Fudou and bids his time in order to use Water and Earth jutsu to trap him. Yamato then crushes Fudou to death with a Woode jutsu. Sakura is trapped by Fuen’s earth barrier and appears to succumb to her poisons. Once she is unconscious, Fuen closes in to finish her off, but she is tricked by Sakura’s replacement jutsu. Sakura had prepared an antidote after their last encounter. She finishes off Fuen with a devastating punch. At the front gates of the village, Shikamaru joins the fight against the zombies. But just when it looks like they are gaining the upper hand, the barrier around Konoha disappears and the zombies begin to vanish. |
