Jugo was an important test subject at Orochimaru's North Hideout
before Sasuke released him. Jugo is the origin of the Cursed Seal
ability. His body produces special enzymes which allow him to
transform his body into a monstrous creature of violence and
destruction. Orohimaru kept Jugo confined and extracted his
enzymes to create his Cursed Seals. However, it was Jugo who
orginally apporached Orochimaru to keep him locked up because he could
not control his own bloodlust.
Although Jugo is quite calm and collected in his regular state,
he is also highly unstable. The enzymes in his body can drive him
into a frenzy, and previously the only way for him to alleviate his
bloodlust was to kill someone. However, Sasuke has demonstrated
the ability to calm Jugo down with a simple glare. Whether this
is an effect of the Sharingan is unknown.
Abilities and
Jutsus:
Cursed Seal (Bloodline) Jugo's body makes natural enzymes which
can turn him into a berserker beast with no warning at all.
Orochimaru extracted this enzyme from his body to make his
special Cursed Seals of Heaven and implanted them into his followers
and test subjects.
Pile Driver Punch (Taijutsu) One of Jugo's special attacks is to
follow up his standard power punches with a secondary piledriver-like
punch that drives another devastating blow into the already injured foe.
Animal Affinity (Special) Despite his inner bloodlust,
Jugo has the ability to befriend and even communicate to wild animals,
even using them to scout the terrain and locate enemies.
Full Transformation (Bloodline)
Jugo's full transformation gives him unparallel power and strength, but
he loses all restraint in himself by letting lose all his murderous
urges. This makes it dangerous for his teammates as he won't be
able to recognize friend from foe.
Multi-Cannon (Special)
By forming mulitple cannons from his own body, Jugo can channel his
chakra to deliver a deadly salvo of high density chakra blast at his
opponent.
