Dosu is the most level headed of his team and may even be
considered the leader despite the disfunctionality of the team. He uses
primarily sound-based attacks and replies on a special speaker
disguised as a forearm protector to amplify his attacks. His sound
attacks use special vibrations that target the opponent’s inner
ear, throwing them off balance and making them nauseous. The nature of
Dosu’s attacks means his punches don’t need to actually
connect to be able to do damage. While Dosu seems to share a friendship
with Zaku, neither cares very much for Kin. Dosu is intelligent and was
able to figure out that Orochimaru was just using them to test
Sasuke’s abilities during the Chuunin Exam. He then subsequently
made it his goal to kill Sasuke in order to prove his worth to Orochimaru. Dosu was killed by Gaara when he attempted to kill Gaara because he saw him as an obstacle to his goal of killing Sasuke.
