    Aoi is a former instructor in Konoha who convinced Idate Morino to steal the legendary lightning chakra sword called the Blade of the Thunder Spirit which once belonged to the Second Hokage and a forbidden scroll. Idate was fooled into believing this could grant him advancement to Chunin. Once the sword was in his hand, he fled the country towards Amegakure in order to obtain advancement to Jonin for obtaining the stolen items.  Idate went along because he was now a wanted fugitive in Konoha.  When Ibiki Morino and two ANBU Black Ops members caught up to them, Aoi had the ANBU Black Ops members killed. Ibiki ended up being captured by Aoi, who then tortured him to read the scroll. Ibiki managed to free himself and Idate but was separated from his brother due to a fire. Though Ibiki escaped, Aoi managed to become a Jonin of the Hidden Rain Village.

Senbon Shower (Ninjutsu)
  A hail of senbon (metal needles) rains down from a parasol which Aoi throws into the air. This is a well known jutsu of Rain shinobis.		 Raijin no Ken (Weapon) (Special)
  A power sword infused with electrical energy.  It is said that it was owned by the Second Hokage and is said to be near unbreakable.  However, the true power of the Raijin still depends on the skill of the user.
