Shisui Uchiha, also known as "Shisui of the Body Flicker", was a talented member of the Uchiha clan and a member of the Konoha Military Police. He was said to be Itachi's best friend, but was ordered by the Uchiha clan to investigate Itachi when he began acting strangely. Shisui was later found drowned to death in a pond, and it was suspected that Itachi killed Shisui and forged his suicide note. During the Kage Meeting in the Land of Iron, Ao of the Hidden Mist Village revealed that he has fought Shisui sometime in the past and remembered his chakra signature.
