Gatoh insults Zabuza by kicking Haku’s
corpse. Naruto becomes angry and tells Zabuza that he was the
most important person in the world to Haku.
Sakura is relieved when Sasuke come back to
life. It seems Haku never meant to kill neither him nor
Naruto during the fight. He was really a very kind person.
Zabuza’s tough exterior is broken and
he sheds tears for Haku. He asks Naruto to give him his kunai
so he can take revenge on Gatoh. Without the use of his arms,
Zabuza can only grip the kunai between his teeth. Even so, he is able
to cut his way through Gatoh’s men to take him out.
However, Zabuza suffers serious injuries too during the attack and
falls to the ground after killing Gatoh.
Gatoh’s men turn to attack Naruto and
the others, but Inari and the rest of the villagers arrive to help
fight. Both Naruto and Kakashi create clones as a bluff to
scare off Gatoh’s men and it works.
Zabuza asks Kakashi to bring his broken body next
to Haku’s so he can see his face one last time. It
begins to snow mysteriously and Zabuza dies quietly. He and
Haku are buried on a hilltop near the completed bridge.
Tazuna has named the bridge the Great Naruto
Bridge in honor of Naruto’s bravery. Naruto tries
to hold back tears as everyone says their goodbyes. Team
Kakashi heads back to Konoha after completing their first real mission.
