Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke meet their
team’s sensei,
Kakashi Hatake. Kakashi doesn’t seem too impressed
with
them and tell them to come to the training grounds the next morning.
The next day, Kakashi gathers everyone and
presents two
bells. His rules are simple, whoever manages to get a bell
from
him passes. Of course, at least one of the them would have to
fail as there are not enough bells for the three of them.
While Sakura and Sasuke hide in order to wait for
an
opportunity to ambush Kakashi, Naruto openly challenges Kakashi to
fight him one-on-one. Naruto is no match for
Kakashi’s
skills and is knocked into the river with an embarrassing Thousand
Years of Pain jutsu.
Not ready to give up yet, Naruto leaps out of the
water
with six other shadow clones and charges Kakashi. The clones
manage to restrain Kakashi, but just as Naruto goes to deliver a punch,
Kakashi disappears and causes Naruto to punch one of clones.
Naruto is confused and begins to fight amongst
his clones
thinking one of them is a transformed Kakashi. Sasuke spots
the
real Kakashi nearby, launches his attack and appears to have
successfully hit Kakashi.
